Riverside County joins in national observance of “May is Mental Health Month”

Again this year, Riverside University Health System – Behavioral Health will conduct community events and engage in community outreach to raise awareness and reduce stigma about mental health as part of Riverside County’s month-long observance of May is Mental Health Month. This national awareness campaign began in 1949 to promote a greater understanding of mental health and to support the wellness and recovery of those living with mental illness.
